Microprocessor Logic Designer Job Responsibilities:
The candidate will become a member of the logic design team developing a future generation microprocessor. The responsibilities of the candidate will include:
- Development and maintenance of behavioral and structural RTL models.
- Logic verification and debug.
- Performance analysis and validation.
- Interaction with circuit designers.
- Guaranteeing static timing closure.
Job Requirements:
- BS in Electrical or Computer engineering.
- 5 years related experience.
- Strong knowledge of computer architecture.
- Experience in RTL coding in Verilog/VHDL/etc.
- Experience in timing optimization.
- Northbridge/chipset architecture and implementation experience is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of circuit/logic/layout tradeoffs a plus.
- Knowledge of C/C++/Perl an advantage.
- Prefer an individual with broad CPU development experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.
