Architectural Validation Intern
Job Responsibilities:
Work with our team that creates x86 processor test suites utilizing x86 assembly, C/C++ and Perl to validate new x86 microprocessors. Perform debug of test failures and work with engineering staff to resolve design issues.
Job Requirements:
- Requires recent, extensive expertise in x86 programming.
- Requires strong C/C++ and assembly language skills.
- Ability to write and understand Perl scripts is highly desirable
- Highly motivated self-starter.
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
- Experience with writing device drivers for any environment is desirable.
- Experience with kernel and software debuggers is desirable.
- Good understanding of PC architecture (memory, I/O, interrupts, devices) is desirable.
- Experience with logic analyzers/oscilloscopes is desirable.
Microprocessor Logic Design Intern
Job Responsibilities:
- Design and debug required logic implementations
- Implement floorplanning and placement of logic implementations
- Verify designs against RTL
- Ensure designs meet timing and other design goals
Job Requirements:
- 1-2 years experience
- Experience w/ semi-custom or full-custom designs
- Knowledge of VHDL or Verilog
- Perl/Python/C/C++ programming a plus
