Legacy Products

IDT WinChip C6 and IDT WinChip 2 are no longer manufactured or supported. WinChip 3 was designed and sampled but never shipped. Technical documentation is still available.

Processor Innovation

From 1995 through 1999, Centaur’s designs were used in IDT’s WinChip products. Centaur’s newest design, the VIA Isaiah Architecture, is a new x86 processor architecture that will deliver significant boosts to the functionality and performance of desktop, mobile and ultra mobile PCs while minimizing power requirements, saving on battery life and enabling ultra compact system designs.
